# Strong

Marks text of strong importance, seriousness, or urgency within running text. For stress that changes the meaning of a sentence, use [Emphasis](/components/emphasis.md).

## Usage

```tsx
import {Strong} from '@earendil-works/elanor-react';

<Strong>removes its files for everyone</Strong>;
```

Strong renders a `strong` element in `semantic.fontWeight.emphasis`, the same weight in UI and in long-form content. A plain `strong` uses the browser's relative `bolder`, which depends on the surrounding weight and the fonts available.
